Lanre and Sumbo Omonaiye
Lanre Omonaiye stepped into the leadership role of Global Outreach Mission (GO Missions) on September 1, 2024, succeeding Bank Akinmola. Before taking on this significant responsibility, he served as the Executive Pastor of Global Outreach Church, a key expression of GO Missions.
Lanre’s journey with Christ began in his teenage years, and he quickly became involved in ministry. His first experience was as a visiting missionary to the Kujama prison camp in rural Kaduna State, northern Nigeria. There, he ministered to inmates labeled as “the worst of offenders,” many serving life sentences. This pivotal experience led him to further missionary work in Doka, another rural community in Kaduna State. Over the years, Lanre has faithfully served the body of Christ in various roles.
Today, Lanre is honored to lead alongside the dedicated team that has made GO Missions a remarkable organization. With its rich legacy in the mission field and a strong presence across North America, South America, Africa, and Asia, Lanre is eager to continue expanding GO Missions' reach into new territories, advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ globally.
Lanre and his wife, Sumbo Omonaiye, have been happily married for over 26 years. Together, they are blessed with two wonderful children.
